Forecast: Online to reach 18.9% of global ad spend in 2013

Interactive advertising is growing, both on a year-over-year basis and in terms of its total share of overall global advertising spending, according to a forecast from ZenithOptimedia. While the media shop issued a downward revision of its prediction for overall ad growth, display advertising is rising 17.2%, search is up 14.6% and overall online is expected to constitute 18.9% of global ad spending in 2013.
