Brands boast more e-mail subs than social followers


Even though brands’ e-mail subscribers far outnumber their followers in social media — by ratios as high as 90-to-1 — few brands offer, or plan to offer, an e-mail opt-in on their Facebook pages, according to a survey by e-mail marketing and automation firm Silverpop. “Don’t tell me consumers don’t like e-mail,” said Silverpop Vice President Loren McDonald.  DMNews
