Ad group says global media spending will rise nearly 5% in 2010


Worldwide ad spending will rise 4.9% this year, to $449.6 billion, according to a report from ZenithOptimedia. The ad giant went on to say that TV spending in the U.S. will increase 7.7%, to $56.5 billion, in 2010, and Internet spending will come in at $23.1 billion, a 13.8% surge.  Wall Street Journal, The
