Studies show social media works best when it’s integrated

Social-media teams produce their best work when they’re fully integrated with the rest of their company, a pair of studies show. Both studies — one of which was done by Summus and SmartBrief — suggest that brands’ goals are most likely to be met if companies avoid siloing their social-media efforts, and actively foster collaboration between departments in support of digital campaigns, this article suggests.  eMarketer
