MySpace throws a Hail Mary, opens the door to Facebook


MySpace has announced a partnership with onetime rival Facebook, letting users sign into its service with Facebook Connect and import their Facebook data so they can access MySpace’s tailored music and entertainment content. The partnership, billed as a “Mashup with Facebook,” is being pitched as a challenge to Apple’s Ping network.
