Path promises to shrink your social circle

The social network Path went live today, offering photo-based social networking to users and a group of no more than 50 of their friends. The site, founded by Napster and Facebook alumni, imposes the 50-friend cap in order to encourage people to create social circles of people they genuinely trust, allowing them to post freely and share intimate fragments of their lives. “You can literally see your friend’s lives through their eyes,” says CEO Dave Morin.  Wired.com/Epicenter blog
