Viewers turn on, tune in, start tweeting


Twitter is becoming more closely integrated with television content, with many of each day’s approximately 90 million tweets now related to shows, says Robin Sloan of Twitter. Production companies are building Twitter content into their shows as viewers are routinely tweeting while they watch in order to feel like “they’re not alone on the couch eating a bag of Cheetos,” Sloan says.  TechCrunch
