Get more out of Facebook by promoting both “Share” and “Like” buttons

The “Like” and “Share” buttons offered by Facebook are powerful tools in their own right, but they’re most effective when used together, writes David Yovanno. People generally like objects, but share activities, so brands can use “Like” to promote products, but use “Share” to promote comments and reviews, he suggests. “Not only do ‘Like’ and ‘Share’ have different strengths and different applications, they actually drive the most value when used in concert,” Yovanno writes.  Mashable
