5 publishing execs who know their iPad apps


Mediaweek has identified five publishing “heavyweights” in the tablet segment, including Liz Schimel, executive vice president, consumer relationship management and digital media, at Meredith National Media Group, which this spring will launch an all-digital version of Better Homes and Gardens, and Daniel Bernard, chief product officer, WSJ Digital Network, News Corp., which has moved 800,000 downloads of its iPad application.  Mediaweek
