Get ready for the battle of the social-media browsers


The next big social-media showdown could be between specific social-media-powered Web browsers, writes MG Siegler. Google could easily shift its social-media efforts to building a social version of Chrome, while Facebook could score big with a customized browser with baked-in social-graph goodness. “The more I think about this, the more I think it would be crazy for Facebook not to do this. … I have this feeling that Web browsing as we know it is about to change,” Siegler writes.  TechCrunch
