Social platforms make it easier for campaigns to go viral


Top marketers such as Pepsi, National Geographic and AOL are using BuzzFeed, StumbleUpon and Digg and other social-media platforms to take the guesswork out of efforts to build brand buzz and have their content go viral. “You can’t build it and hope people show up,” said Nick Newlin, interactive director at Shine Advertising. “It’s all about seeding it and getting it in front of the right audience.”  Adweek
