Report: Social-media users rant, rave about brands

More than a third of adult social-media users have talked up or trashed brands or products using social networks, according to a Harris survey. Users were slightly more likely to talk about brands they were unhappy with than brands they liked, the study notes. Adult users under 35 were significantly more likely than users over 55 to take peer opinions into consideration when choosing a product or service, the survey finds.  Adweek
