Microsoft brings social-networking updates to Outlook

Microsoft is testing the Outlook Social Connector, an add-on to its popular e-mail program that will incorporate content from MySpace, Facebook and other networking sites. Outlook users receiving an e-mail will be able to browse the sender’s recent social updates, though users won’t yet be able to manage their own social-networking accounts through Outlook.  Google/The Associated Press
