H&R Block looks to make tax season social

H&R Block is launching a social-media drive to drum up business for its tax-preparation software. The company launched a Twitter feed and Facebook quizzes designed to steer users toward the company’s own forums, where 1,000 “social-media qualified” tax pros are on hand to answer questions and forge relationships with users. “Doing your taxes is such a human thing, it makes sense to establish a community,” says one Web strategist.  Advertising Age
