Agencies, stations lobby Nielsen to improve local TV metrics

Finding an accurate metric for local TV ratings that measures DVR viewership of ads has become a top priority for Group M executive Rino Scanzoni, who is working closely with other agencies, major station groups, the Television Bureau of Advertising and Nielsen to address the situation. The push for a better local TV gauge comes as Nielsen plans to switch to a live-plus-same-day metric.  Broadcasting & Cable
